Registration is now open for exhibitors at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2025. While registration for buyers, visitors, and the media remains forthcoming, South African Tourism has reassured stakeholders that plans are being finalized to ensure a seamless experience when those portals launch.
“We are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process once it opens,” stated a South African Tourism spokesperson. However, industry insiders have expressed concerns that the delayed opening could impact international buyers, particularly those needing visas and seeking to secure the best deals on flights and accommodations.
Set to take place at the Durban International Convention Centre from May 13–15, this year’s Indaba also features a Business Opportunities Networking Day on May 12. Last year, the event recorded 9,280 registered delegates—a 7% increase over 2023—with over 24,000 meetings conducted between exhibitors and buyers and more than 1,200 exhibitors showcasing their offerings.
