Following a successful inaugural event in the Dominican Republic, the 2nd UN Tourism Africa & Americas Summit is set to convene in Livingstone, Zambia, from April 8 to 10, 2025. Co-hosted by UN Tourism and Zambia’s Ministry of Tourism, this landmark event will bring together Tourism Ministers, senior officials, and industry leaders from both continents to explore avenues for investment, enhance regional cooperation, and champion sustainable tourism development.

This year’s agenda will focus on several key priorities: boosting air connectivity, fortifying resilience, spurring investment, and expanding educational and skills development initiatives. By addressing these areas, the summit aims to unlock new opportunities, accelerate economic growth, and forge a more inclusive and sustainable future for both Africa and the Americas.
